This innovative door style was pioneered by A&B Glass and is available through our approved installer network under the Suffolk Door Collection brand.
This authentic timber look is achieved by combining different frame depths onto the same door to create the dimensions of timber doors.
These are then butt-jointed together to create the appearance of timber butt joints, as opposed to standard uPVC welds.
Ten woodgrain effect foils are available in a variety of period colours, including but not limited to dark red, Chartwell Green and Rosewood. Alternatively, you can choose from a range of Kolorbond period or contemporary paint finishes.
Kolorbond is a specialist PVC-u three-coat application that is tough, durable and guaranteed against all weather conditions.
Your chosen colour may be applied to both the internal and external facades; equally you can apply your chosen colour to the exterior and leave the inside finish ‘fresh white’.
The paint finish can be applied directly to both the smooth frame and to a woodgrain effect foil.
The Suffolk Door Collection offers a vast selection of quality period handles and knockers. Furniture colours include polished chrome, satin silver, polished brass and black. And with steel reinforcing and upgraded security features, Suffolk doors can withstand the most determined of forced entry attempts.
Our tip: to further enhance the period look of your door, choose a traditional finger pull around the key barrel.
Regardless of your preference for a contemporary or period finish, the Suffolk Door Collection offers a wide range of glazing options, including bevelled glass designs, leads, astragal bars, stained glass and etched glass.
The glass pattern may be matched to the side panels and top lights, and you can even have your house number etched into the glass design.
